The eTimes Herald News is a contemporary internet news website startup operated by Weimer Media.
Those of us who founded the eTimes Herald News believe there is a niche in the news ecosystem that needs to be operated by an agile, hybrid service that mixes elements from traditional news journalism with social media management, and original content development in order to satisfy the public’s interest in news, information, and entertainment.
By intentionally focusing upon segments of popular culture, including memes and trending topics along with regular news, we hope to both appeal to users seeking entertainment, while also gaining their trust, and renewing the dedication to trustworthy, impartial news reporting. There have been grand experiments that have touched on some of these elements, such as Digg, Reddit, NowPublic, and ProPublica.
